Bear Bow dating (Black Bear)

I Just bought an old bear black bear off my neighbor that they called and told me they had laying around, naturally I was interested. I know they were made between 1972-1978 and I hoped to pinpoint the date by the medallion but when I went to get/look at/shoot it the medallion is a bear sticker, the size of the medallion, the sticker is black with the logo looking a goldish color. I haven't found any info on these. Any help is much eppriciated.

I believe 1974 was the year that the sticker was most often found.
