I just noticed that someone has a very early Howatt bow in the classifieds, and it seems to be priced fairly.

I love the Howatt bows, but who knows about the Rocket?  The markings, glass color, label, etc. show this to be a bow from the early to mid '50's.

dang good eye Lon trust me I got up rather early this morning and seen the listing on the Rocket of which I'am not possitive but I am pretty certin our good friend Larry Hatfield built those models.I am not in a possition to buy any bows right now myself or Mr.Rocket would have been marked sold to bowdoc pending funds. Those are very well built and a super good shooting bow bd

I have six or seven of those in my arsenal and none are for sale. They shoot nice but stack a little.
