I'm thinking Browning, but which model? The bow is 54 inches.

It kind of looks like a nomad I, but I haven't seen one that dark.  I'm sure someone might chime in that knows more.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

THANKS! I am getting much enjoyment out of this 54 inch bow. It's performance is surprising. It's a keeper.

Ive had.....and may have again, some of the "old" Brownings.

Somewhat under appreciated, IMHO.

Only had a few but all shot like blue demons.  I had an 80lb Wasp that shot 217 fps with 550 grain arrows with a standard 28 inch draw.

Shop owner was watching me whang away with it and asked me how "fast" it was....since I have never cared, I didnt know.

Was fairly surprised with the results with his lighter arrows.  I shot some 700 grainers out of it and all I knew was it "more than adequate" for my "needs". lol

I think the ODDEST thing that ever happened to me was with that bow.  After more than 20 years of carping and hunting.......the bow blew up.

For giggles (remember now that these were WAY out of production by then)I sent it back to Browning.

Low and behold, a week later I got a BRAND NEW 80lb ONE, they had sitting around??, in the mail.

Some MORON sold it.....why I dont know??

God Bless

Both the Safari and the Safari I were 54" bows, not sure of the differences. I have a 60" Safari II that shoots like a dream and has a similar riser.

54" seems to be just about right for my draw.  I wouldn't say this bow is fast, but it is adequate for my turkey hunting needs   :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:
