Hello all. I can't  believe I had not found this collectors portion of the forum before, but am thrilled to have found it now. The wealth of information you guys have stored here is amazing.   I am ready start my vintage Bear collection, and am looking for a 64 inch Super Kodiak. I would like one from 67.5, 68, or 69 and would prefer draw weights of 40-50 at 28", but heavier or later year models might work too.  Any ideas guys?  Anyone have one they would sell?

Just picked up a 67.5 64" Super K. Came at a very decent price on e-Bay. Keep searching...they're out there.

I would love one of these models also, there are a couple on e... right now, price is pretty high though.

Hey Claysmokin,

I've got a super nice 1970 64" Super K, but it's 60#'s.  I know it's heavier than you want, but if you're still looking, this one's for sale.  No stress, no twist, no holes.  Pictures are available if interested $350.00 plus shipping to TX.

Sheldon,

Right now there's a 1967 1/2, 64"/55# on e-Bay,  #330447708127.  Starting price is $325.00 with no bids so far.  Don't know your price range, but looks like it is decent shape.

Good luck in your quest!

I do have a NFS 64" 1970 Super K Murray swapped it to me for some bow work I'am doing on for him.I'am just about finished with several jobs now and was going to sell off the Super and a couple other bows I have once I got caught up a bit more in my shop and had the spare time to list them.
The one I have is a 1970 64" 60#er and just a tad bit on the heavy side for me however I do shoot it and get about 27 1/2" draw rather then my normal 28 so it does work out OK.I would like to mention I believe that the 64" model Super Kodiaks are not one of the fastest bows ever built but they are one of the finest shooting recurves ever bar none.I do love the way the 1970 shoots and at 64" its a nail driver bd

Thanks for the info and offers.  Those bows are a couple pounds heavy for me at 30 inches of draw.  I have a deal working for a 68-69 that is a little lighter bow, but do appreciate your offers and help.  I hear these old bears are addicting.  I feel like I may get the bug bad after this first one and need a plan to hide them from the wife!
