Haven't had time to shoot lately. The shoot is on Thursday night 6-8and I get home about 6:30.    :(

Awesome bows! BTW, your Gamemaster isn't a Jet. CKruse

dkard,
I sent you an e-mail. Please check.

dkard

Is the Gamemaster a classic or some other model? Just heard really good things about the Howard Bows and so I had to get one for the collection.

thanks, dave

ckruse

Yours is a Gamemaster Deluxe aka the original Gamemaster. The Jet had a different riser, and I believe different limb geometry. That is a great shooting bow! I jump back and forth between which I like best, the Jet or the Deluxe. Here is a Jet. CKruse

Thanks, I saw  a Jet on **** and saw that it has more recurve to the limbs.

Some very fine bows! Thanks for sharing.

what's up with the Delux.  Never heard of that.

Looks like a new Classic to me.

Dkard...is it 64" or 66"?

66" = Original Gamemaster
64" = New Gamemaster Classic.

Judging by the finish I'd say it's a Classic
If it is an original Gamemaster it is the finest condition I've ever seen.

You heard right.  Jack's bows are the fastest, smoothest, most beautiful bows ever made... Bar none.

Of course I ain't biased or nuttin'.

I'm afraid you have contracted a desease.  It is called TACS.  Traditionl Archery collecting Syndrome.  Highly contageous and no known cure.

The Surgeon General has determined that it is fatal to your financial health.

It is 66" long. There is a little scuffing of the finish. I'll have to see if it can be touched up.

Jack, I'm quoting the 62-63 Kittredge Bow Hut Catalog. As you know, Doug Kittredge featured Jack's bows prominently for many years.

"NEW THIS YEAR - Contoured Pistol Grip Handle of outstandingly comfortable design...molded in Ebonite!

66" bow length, any weight to 65#. Made for right hand archers only. Shipped complete with bowcase, dacron bowstring and 1 year factory guarantee.

#B-182 HOWARD GAMEMASTER DELUXE     $95.00
#B-182-B Standard Model, regular handle grip as in past.                            $85.00

This is quoted exactly and directly from the 62-63 Archer's Bible (Kittredge Bow Hut Catalog)

It also shows a small image of each, with the standard model having a more rounded grip. CKruse

I had a decal for a deluxe but I'll be darned if I can find it because I kind of forgot it was for a JH.......I'll keep looking bd

Thank you Cameron.  Never too old to learn.

I'll have to check my three old Gamemasters to see if one is  delux.  what is the difference in the handle?  Can you scan the Catalog and post it?

I don't think they were marked any different. All of mine just have the round Howard Hunting Bow logo. I will try to scan, but it's a small picture in a small catalog. CKruse
