Is the difference in the 71 and 72 Grizzlys in the location of the upper silk screens? Do the 71's have the silk screen on the back and the 72's on the belly? If that is not correct, what is the difference? How do you tell? Thanks a bunch?

I don't believe there would be any noticeable difference between the two. Both Shedua riser with black glass.

In the past I have read on this form, that both the Kodiak Hunters and the Kodiak Magnums had the upper silk screens on the back of the limbs in 1971, and they were moved to the belly side for 1972. I could assume that the Grizzlys did the same thing, but I'm not sure. I have two Grizzlys,  58", black glass, shedua; one has the upper silk screens on the belly; one on the back. All the Grizzlys that I have seen that were from 1964 to 1970, had the upper silk screens on the back. All that I have seen from 1973 to 1978 had them on the belly. Wondered if they made the change between 1971 and 1972?

If I'm not mistaken,  in 1972 the coin medallion was also raised above the surface on Bear bows whereas before 1972 the coin was flush.
