If you have a 1964, 65, or 66 Bear Kodiak pic you would like to share, it would be helpful. What are some of differences in:
1. Glass Color, back and belly?
2. Tip overlays, one, two or three layers?
3. Riser Wood,?
4. Inlay, wood/color?
5. Tapered and, or parallel laminations?
6. Does your S/N begin with letters or no's? Example 1965 started with 5, 1966 with a 6, while 1964 started over each month.
7. How many characters in the S/N?
8. Is the bow length shown on the same line as the weight? Not shown, different line?
9. Anything distinctive or different about your bow?
Thanks for sharing.

Bill Krenz and Wade Phillips each show a lineup of mid 60s Kodiaks.

You can do a search to find alot of info about just about any Kodiak you're interested in.

One big difference is that in 1966 Bear started to radius the shelf for better arrow flight.
There's something about holding a longbow in your hand!
