I still have some drool on my shirt from handling a doz. never used, with razoeheads, wood Bear arrows. Orginal price, $16.95.
I know about how "what the market will bear" works but what do you all think would be a fair offer? No, I will not diclose the source at this time. Thanks, Tom in San Diego

I think John is probably real close but some pictures or more details might help us date them and give you more insight.

I just checked the Bear Catalog CD and you can find different arrows priced at $16.95 for quite a few different years.

Bear's top of the line tapered cedar in 1959, the X-200 with 6 - 4 blade heads and 6 - target points per box were $16,95.

Jump to 1964 and a dozen A 50s with single blade heads were $16.95

In any case, unshot Bear arrows with unshot razorheads  command alot of attention from collectors, especially if the box is in mint condition.

Better get them before he changes his mind.

Thanks guys, I will give it a shot. He did not really offer them for sale. This is why I was asking. I will go back to his shop and see if he is ready to sell.I know pictures would be great but He seems to be very protective of his unsold items. He even has some Bear camo clothes. I was afraid to touch, they might have fallen apart.

I went to a buddy of mine's house last night and he brought out 2 boxes of unshot bear arrows and Razorheads.  They were almost perfect except for the fletching starting to show some age.  He had 2 12 packs of bleeder blaeds that are still tapped in the box with the tool to insert them. I think some arrows had maxflight 8 or Minflight 8, can't remember.  The others were Bear with the outserts on them.  Pretty cool old stuff.      <>< del

PAPALAPIN

I had a set of 6 Bear Microflite arrows with '64 Bear razorheads...unused.

I gave them as a special Christmas present.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

As you guys may have guessed I did not score on the Bear arrows. I guess it is for the best. I am a shooter more then a collector. Those arrows are for display not shooting.
