New Bear find

I just picked this bow up. At one point in it's life, it had been painted flat black. The last owner removed some of the paint. It has a gap in the lamination at the hand rest. Should I repair this with super glue? If so, while it is strung? I can't see the gap while at rest. Should I block one side, then fill the gap in one shot? Enquiring minds want to know...

I would inject some loctite 420 into the gap while unstrung and clamp it good. Bowdoc should agree.

I would string it to open up the gap, fill it with loctite, then unstring it and clamp it tight as you can.  Leave it clamped for two days.
\\Make sure you wipe off ALL excess glue before yo clamp it or you just might glue the clamp to the riser.
