Just looking through some 60's Bear catalogs...any Bear collectors have
a bow that matches the serial number
in the catalog..the original photo
shoot bow...something to check guys..
that would be pretty neat.

Guess I'm out of luck...old Fred pretty much used all right hand bows  in his catalogs..have to check the dual arrow rest ones I guess..

I know the late Al Reader had a couple of bows that were in the catalog.I saw them at Compton in 2008.One was a wood A-riser from the 1971 catalog and the other was a Kodiak Hunter, possibly the same year.I've often thought how cool it would be to have a bow from one of the catalogs and who knows how many of us may have had one pass through our hands and not know it.I know I've never checked every Bear bow I've ever owned. This collecting is getting too complicated, too many things to check.LOL

Oh yeah I've seen several that were catalog bows including Al's and Joe Netske's.There out there.bd

Has anybody ever seen one of the bows from the 70 catalog? Most of them have the year as the serial number.
