Any one have any idea how much a Roy Rogers autographed long bow is worth?

The Roy Rogers stuff has quite a following from some collectors and having an item in all original condition (with the box, etc) can bring $100 or more.  If you just have the bow and it's in great condition, I expect you could get $40-50.

BTW, Roy was quite an avid hunter and one of my favorite cowboy heroes from the 50's.

And, Roy and his wife (Dale Evans) were wonderful human beings, also.

Roy Rogers was one of my heros during the 50s, also.

I have one with the Large autograph & There is also a small autograph.Someone told me the large was a little more collectible than the small.Hay the picture above....I just aquired a King quiver like Roys wearing.Does anyone know what kind of Knife went with the quiver..

Probably a Marble knife.  That's what's goin in my King quiver.  My grandfather was a cowboy in the Wyoming area about 1920.  I have his spurs, his Marble knife, his Winchester Model 94 30-30, his catridge belt, and the end of his lariat.

It could be a Marble, but my guess would be "Western".  These knives were made in  Colorado since 1898 but have recently gone bankrupt. They have made several models and were really popular in the 50's.  Though inexpensive, the Western knife is still good quality and you would be able to find one rather easily.

The knife thats in mine has a black handle no other markings on it.Looks like Roy is shooting a Grimes aluminum limb recurve bow from Jackson Mi.

Roy was one of my heros growing up also. Roy and Dale were some of the best.

I didn't know he was an avid bowhunter.

Every boomer knows that Roy often joked about being stuffed, just like Trigger.

As Roy said to the townspeople in one of my favorite Roy Rogers films:

Here in Maryland Roy Rogers is know more for his fried chicken and roast beef sandwiches than his longbow skills.

First store bow I ever had was a Roy Rodgers signature long bow made by Ben Pearson (all black).. Earned it by selling Christmas cards.. I'd like to find another, but ain't paying fleabay prices.
