I have a Kodiak magnum 52" 45# @ 28" ser# 27cc6 gray glass on front and back of limbs and a red colored stripe running through the riser and lighter colored grey limb tips and back of riser what year this bow is and about how much is it worth ? Its in good shape minor scratches no holes no twisted limbs and it has new string and strike plate and shelf material. Thanks

Horney Toad

Is it a curved stripe? It sounds like a 1964.

bdog

Yes it's a curved stripe,it's not really red kind of the same color of the wood in the riser, and it follows the shape of the riser and has gold accent stripes

Yup a 1964....Check the big auction and you will get an idea on price...Any stress lines in the limbs?... Are you looking to sell it?...Mike

What do the stress lines look like? And where would they be in the limbs?

Mike Shaw

The stress lines usually appear in the fade out area of the limbs as shown. They normally don't affect the performance or safety of the bow unless you find them in the working part of the limb. In that case the bow becomes a wall hanger IMO.

Nothing like that on the bow it only has a few scratches, nothing major on it,it's nice and straight,it kind of looks gray like that one but know white or black just some light gray where the black and white is in your picture.
