Well, I couldn't stand it any more.  I'd been watching this bow for several days.  It had a "Buy it now" price of $229.00 plus 22.00 postage, plus a "make an offer".  I made an offer and it was accepted and saved $31.00 bucks on the deal.  It's listed as a 1962, 62", 35lb bow. Really not concerned if it was a good deal, as I wanted a bow just like a good buddy's Rt handed version.  It's advertised as having some stress lines, no holes, delams or twists.  The leather looks a little rough...but then so do I.

When it gets here, I'll post more pics.

My wife and I have a his and her pair of lefty 1962's at 35# and 45#.  We always get lots of nice comments when we take 'em out to a shoot.  As Bowdoc said not only are they great lookers, they are great shooters too.

Well, guys, it arrived today. Not totally disappointed but it has some flaws...nothing major but they weren't described by the seller.
First there's this poorly repaired ding in the edge of the top limb.

There are some light vertical stress lines in both upper and lower limbs....only one on each...only the bottom limb stress line showed up in the photos...

The leather looks as bad on the off side as it did it the photo above....is that a pewter coin?

Here are the bows specs and serial #.....

Is that the original strike plate for this year Griz in the photo at the top of the page?  What was originally on the shelf?  It's bare now.
Thanks, Guys....

That's a very nice '62. It has beautiful wood especially in the sight window. The stress lines are not worth talking about; nor that minor ding. Go to bowdocs refinishing 101 thread to find out how to replace the grip.
The leather wall looks correct and TRAP can fix you up with a feather rest. Good buy.
