Repair/replace bevelock.

I have a two piece long bow with a bevelock.  The bevelock has quite a bit of play (metal to metal) not bevelock loose from riser.  Does anyone repair/replace these?  I would be willing to do away with the takedown feature.  
Any ideas anyone?

Just out of curiosity...what bow is it on? What's the poundage?  How much play is 'quite a bit'?

They can be adjusted to some degree. The real issue is that if you ever get a dry fire or don't shoot Heavy..like 12 or more grains per pound they seem to loosen up again. I glued mine together with a structural epoxy...done deal...Just my experience....

What kind of epoxy did you use?  I tried 30 minute epoxy, and it didn't hold up.

Thanks for the pm, Mark.  They've had issues both ways...getting locked and the creep issue you have.  

I've heard the epoxy route taken a couple of times, but, imo, will most likely creep again, just a matter of time...vibration is a factor, although you don't have that much poundage.  

Good time to make your own riser and snip the limbs.  Been there and done that with the exact model you have.

Was just on the website for bevellok and it has a lifetime warranty.  Big question is how does the company warranty this type of work....must be some way to retrofit and/or replace and existing bevellok gone bad with new.

Was also interesting that Craig Warren helped design the bevellok...he came up with a better design...the bow bolt system.  Betcha you could grind the locks down and install a bow bolt with an adequate micarta spacer.  Just a thought.
