I have a bear cub with an A print over the top of the serial number.  What does this mean if anything?

Thanks,

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Jack,
Did you happen to check out the photo of the Cub with the
A stamped over the top of the serial number on the POW WOW section.  I'm still wonder what that means if it has any meaning at all.

Thanks
Jon

I have no idea of what the "A" could stand for.
There are many guys around that are better on the old bears.  The most knowlegeable was a guy that is unfortunately no longer on Trad Gang.

Hoepfully, someone will be able to answer you question.

There are lots of single letters used above the serial numbers on many Bear bows in the '50s. It is not part of the serial number and I have never heard an explanation of the letter being there.
