only for 3D
bow Hoyt buffalo 35 pounds

Easton ACC pro hunting serie  440 spine
with 120 gr. tip plus insert and 4 inches feathers

Pretty stiff canuck. Something in the 500 to 600 spine range for 35#.

You'll get better answers on the Pow Wow for your equipment questions, arrows, shelf on your Buffalo, etc.  This is a "shooting FORM" forum.

thank you moebow
new here will get the hang of it after a while pow wow it is

PSUBowhunter

Yeah, I agree with moebow, I think you would be better off up around a 600 spine.

canuck4570

to bad, 440 is the lowest
like the carbon aluminium because at a 3D shoot I saw a shooter having a carbon going through is hand

I've had a several of the carbon 600's break on me, so that is a concern, but I agree that 600's are probably the best choice for your setup (assuming you are drawing close to a normal 28" draw).  When they break, I think it's because I miss the target and the side of the shaft gets smacked against the target shed or some other hard object.  If it doesn't break on impact, then it can still weaken the shaft at that point, usually near the fletching, so that it breaks later.  Gold tip recommends flexing the shafts before you shoot them, which should catch that kind of thing before you shoot the arrow.  I try to remember to do that now that I've had a couple break on me.

I have look twice at Easton arrow selector and a bow between 35 and 38 pounds and arrow 30 inches long the ACC pro hunting in 440 is ok
but has I read here these chart are not that accurate

one question  when you say 125 gr. tip weight does that include the insert?
