forgive my ignorance but i'm going back to competition after a long time and was looking at getting a longer length Black widow PL to use as bothh a hunting bow and competition/field/indoor bow . i have been reading up on some of the rules but kinda got lost in the mumbo jumbo...
does any one have any experience with the widder longbow in competition ? i usually shoot straight limb longbows or ILF 'curves but rather fancy a crack at some serious 3d and field competition ...
any advice appreciated .

Ben, the PL will be legal in the IBO with the sideplate built out to 1/8'' from center shot...fine in FITA events and illegal in IFAA due to the bow showing deflex while strung.

thanks Rod...Fita field and IBO is more where i was looking anyway. our ABA rules are way too stingy for most longbow shooters [ no 3 under , straight limb only etc ] ...
I just really want to go back and compete and distances further than 20 yrds !!!
