Greetings!  After seeing the great advise all the pros on this board have given some of the other newbies, I thought I'd upload a shootin video of my own to see what you all think.  I have only been shooting since Jan and I am sure there are a lot of things I can work on, so let me have it.  Thanks in advance for any tips or advise guys, its much appreciated!!

P.S.  Please let me know if the video does not work, this is the first time I've done this.

Hey deadpool I edited my original post and added it in another format.  Let me know how that one works out for ya.

Let me try at this one.
What I am picking up is that your drawing hand and your bow are dropping after release, this is due to lack of back tension and holding on target. When you release you can either have a dead release, where your hand stays against your face, or your hand should come straight back and touch your shoulder. I also think you can gain a few more inches of draw length if you actually squeze you shoulder blades together, this will help with your back tension. One question I have for you, are you using the technique of string walking for aiming? The reason I ask, is because it looks as if you have a gap between your top finger of your drawing hand and your arrow nock.

Taiga, you are correct I am definitely not squeezing my shoulder blades together when I come to full draw.  Honestly I haven't given much thought to back tension at all.  Do you apply back tension just after you have come to full draw or is it a consistent motion throughout the entire drawing motion?  Right now the way I shoot is pretty much all in my arms.

You asked about string walking.  I don't string walk, but I do shoot with a small gap between my bottom knock and my drawing hand because I don't like the feeling of the bottom knock on my index finger when I come to full draw and during release.  I also kinda thought that the knock might cause a little extra spin on the bowstring  during release if it came in contact with my finger.  Should I just remove the bottom knock?

You are way out of alignment...and that is causing lots of problems elsewhere.

This is the alignment you want to achieve, or get as close to as your body structure will allow....

And the yellow is the direction your are directing your energy...

There's a TON of info on back tension here,....just do a search.
