Your appear to have a good anchor point that puts you into pretty good alignment and creates good back tension.

It would help a little more if we could see a straight down view of you shooting to get a better picture of your alignment.

I would suggest a more upright position instead of bending over so much and working on your back tension and follow through just a little more. It appeared that your hand didn't go back in as a linear direction as it should have when a perfect release and proper back tension are utilized.

Youre "heeling" the grip.

Notice your thumb is pointing upwards and your wrist is broken. The weight of the bow is being carried by the wrist instead of the bone in the forearm.

Photagraphy can be tricky but when i freeze framed one of the shots I thought I could see the bottom limb bending more.

I thought that was the proper way to shoot a longbow??I have all kinds of problems shooting with any kind of a high wrist.

Heeling the bow is a proper grip for a low wrist or straight grip.

Heck I,m not a coach but seen something, Your bow is a smooth shooter what # is it? I personally don,t have a problem with your grip. If you were heeling to much you would be pushing the bottom limb out on release which throws tiller off, the way your top limb comes foward tells me grip is good, your release is what i noticed. It looks forced, coming away from your face, make your back pull it straight back and just let it happen. your looking good and I like the way the bow is shooting.

It is a 50 # Bear Montana.It shoots like a dream for me.I also just bought a 3 pc. pronghorn and am waiting for some new shaft to arrive.I really like that bow too.I see what you mean about the release.I need a bit more back tension.I will try to pull through my release more and update the video after Labor Day since I will be gone.
