What bow do you reach for every morning, whether for hunting, stumping, or for foam and paper?

My N.M. Whisper

NM Whisper does not fit in the available categories in a very specific way.  You need to share the slot with all 1 and 2 piece whatevers.  It is not a poll that all of us Hill style longbow shooters will respond to very quickly, because we get pretty specific in those matters. The first thing I thought of is that Vesty must not have a Morningstar, a Miller, Schulz or a Sunset, because he had no second toss up question.

Probably my most dependable is my 1966 Browning Explorer (62") 52#.  Fast, quiet, and I'm accurate with it.

But for the rest of this year and into the 2018 bow season I will be shooting a 1963-67ish Red Wing Hunter (58") 51# bow.  Also fast, also quiet, and I'm almost as accurate with it.

I rotate my stock annually.  Last year a RWH 47# was the bow I reached for every day and the year before that a Shakespeare Necadah X-26 46#      

I like one piece bows.  I own one three piece (the original three-piece recurve design)

Widow PCH though ironically the limb chipped on my most dependable bow in October when it hit my stand while shooting a buck.  If nothing else it's given me time to focus on my ASL shooting, which I'm enjoying immensely.

I have way to many bows......hunted mostly with a Bear T/D this year but my all time go to bow is my 60" River Runner by Chad Holm. It you never shot one you owe it to yourself to try one.

It was my Black Widow PCH, and I guess still is..but with that said I've been shooting my Primal Tech longbow a lot and I'm really enjoying it. For the next month though it'll just be me and Faith, the pass around bow here on Tradgang from Black River. It's a sweet shooter too.

My Bob Lee The Natural model recurve.  I also have a Bob Lee Exotic model recurve, but The Natural is soooooooo sweet, I've actually been thinking about selling my Exotic and getting another The Natural.
