Ok guys.  So I have a trade in the works for a VPA riser.  It's a 13" riser.  When I look at limbs it seems they mostly say the pounds on 17" (i.e 40lbs on 17") so if I'm going to be dropping to a 13" riser does anyone know what poundage limbs I would need to land in the very low 40's? I'm assuming something around 30-35lbs but I really have no clue.  Any help is appreciated

Rule of thumb......for every inch of riser you gain or lose a pound. 17" riser 40#.....13" riser 44#. If you go up 19"riser 38#. Plus you have a bit of adjustment + or - about 2 pounds maybe a bit more. Now some risers have different pocket limb angles so that can make this all different. But you won't be to far off.

I have two vpa 13 " risers and find due to limb pad angle you will be close to marked spec on most limbs.

Sounds good.  Can't wait to get it!

Most ILF limbs are actually rated on a 25" riser so make sure the limbs you are looking at are rated on a 17" riser.

35# on a 25" riser would be 47# on a 13" riser.
