first buck with my new toelke whip

worked the night shift got off around 3am. Took a little nap, weather was perfect!   Good wind so I went out for a morning hunt and got in the stand.

The sun came up real nice morning at 730am.  Looked around, no deer in sight setting down wondering why I haven't seen anything moving when a twig snapped right under me.  I looked down and there he was!  I let him walk out in front of me about 15 yards he turned broadside looked at the spot drew and shot arrow hit a little high.

I think he ducked the shot as he spun and ran back the way he came in.  I took up the trail about 1 hour later found him about 100 yards out.  A 6 point- got some meat with the whip!
