Bear hunt update- new visitor

Bears have been pretty nocturnal recently coming into my two bait sites. Maybe because it's been so hot or maybe because there is so much natural food in the forest now. At any rate, I had a wolf show up in the evening yesterday and a half hour later, still during shooting light, a nice bear showed up. Hopefully, the bear will show up during shooting light a couple of more times in the next two weeks that I can hunt.

Sat at one of my bait sites this afternoon and had some action. When I arrived at 4:30, my bait had already been hit. I baited at 11 a.m. About 5 a "teenager" came in, ate, loafed and then left around a half hour later. A sow and two cubs came in at about 5:45 and eventually left after staying for an hour. That's the most action I've had during a sit so far. Hoping for a big, lone bear to show up soon.

Keep after them Tom.  Do you have some bacon grease on those logs? Those bears coming in will get it on their pads and lay a scent trail out into the woods (they'll lick some off the logs of course).
