Which Aluminium Footing for 350 Vintage Shaft

Hi all,

I'm looking to foot my Black Eagle Vintage 350 shafts, bought a 2117 shaft but it doesn't even begin to slide over. I measured the Vintage OD at .303". Should I go 2219? I don't want it too loose either, that'll defeat the purpose even with epoxy in place.

What are you guys using?
