Compton was great this year in every way.  Courses were freshened up and targets changed around some from last year.  What was your favorite course to shoot?

I went for green.......I like the big targets, Elk, Caribou, sheep, goat. All the courses had some tricky shots which made it fun. Even the wife made some great shots.

I like shooting all of them but the blue course was my favorite. I got there Wednesday and started shooting Thursday I went through all of them 5 times! It was a great time with friends old and new. A buddy had a miss on the orange course I was the only one with boots on. So once I got to the other side of the creek I found his arrow and a dozen other's it was like finding mushrooms    :biglaugh:   when you find one they just start popping up.

On the red course I looked for an arrow on target #1 and found 5.......lol.

I voted green. I liked the longer shots.

However, my favorite target was on the orange course. The skunk you had to shoot through the tube! That was a great target!

My son would cast his vote for the orange course. Standing in the boat shooting at the alligator, really tripped his trigger!

A hunt based only on trophies taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be . . . time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there.

Orange was a fun course and you could definitely tell when someone hit the tube instead of the skunk. I love the bedded Elk shot. The blue course just felt more realistic to me.

The longer shots on the large targets are always fun. I voted green but blue was a close second because of the topography.
