Well I was thinking about trying this "Feather Tape
Feather Adhesive". But before I do, I was wondering if any of yall have tried this. If so, does your fletching stay on as well as it does with your normal fletching glue? here is the link:

Works like a charm. Only thing I use anymore.

Oh yeah, great stuff. You'll give up glue forever. Just put a drop of glue on the front and another on the rear, after you've put the feather on the shaft.

I have used fletch tape on wood, aluminum and carbon and have never lost a feather.  AND I don't put glue drops on them either.  The stuff really works.
No matter how tough the cut of meat, you can always stick your fork in the gravy.

Good stuff . Ive never lost a feather on purpose. But if you want to take one off use a blow dyer or heat gun to warm up the fletching, and it will peel right off. no more scraping glue off. DB

I tried a roll of it once and fletched some 2018's for my son. After leaving them in his backquiver for a spell, we found that the fletches had moved some. I guess it came from the arrow's weight pressing together in the quiver. I'll not use it anymore and stick with regular adhesives.

great stuff, would not use anything else, put a dab of duco on the ends of the fletchings though, helps it stay on

Just tried out the Fletch tape this minute. Good bye glue! Great stuff.

The one and only time I used fletch tape, I let a quiver full of arrows in the car and had to refletch every one of them.  As soon as the arrows got warm, the fletchings all laid over.

I haven't used glue in years. Fletch tape for me.I have had a few come loose over the years, but not enough to make me switch back to glue. I've also had arrows that laid under the grass all winter found next spring and the fletching was still good and tight. Also had a few I shot thru critters, washed them off and fletching was still tight.

Yup it is the only thing I use anymore.  Even if I have to reflech a couple here and there it still saves a bunch of time when making them up.

fletch tape all the way for me...just wish it had been offered years ago.

I heard the Bohning tape, the red role that 3 Rivers sells I think, is now better than it used to be.  I haven't tried it before but I got a role to try the other day.  I tried some Schaefer FeatherFast fletching tape once and had pretty good luck with it but I can't find it locally anymore:   http://www.schaefershooting.com/htm/feather/feather2.htm

I must be doing something wrong.  I used it and the feathers moved all over the place.  I am going back to glue.

fredbear92

do the feathers come off when the arrows are in a warm place

Mine haven't, but I haven't gotten to the REALLY hot place yet!
