Here are a few knives I've been working on lately. The first is walnut and cocobolo with brass accents and thong hole.

The next is a dandy. Ebony handle with bighorn sheep with red phenolic accents. I left the outermost part of the horn exposed on top of the handle. I also tried a few different things. I added two rivets(brass welding rods) because I like the way they look and I filed some of that cool mosaic stuff into the top of the blade. (thanks to some of the guys here for that trick)

Hope ya like 'em, Mike

Awesome work      :notworthy:
I like the first one the best.

You might consider sending these pics to Wingnut.

Very nice grips !

Is Helle blades top quality ?

Here in Norway we are told that steel should be made in Sweden, Germany or Japan.

Keep up the good work.

Bodork,
#2 is AMAZING!  just fantastic, that would make the prettiest bushcraft knife I have seen!  #1 is a close second, if that makes any sense...

Thanks gang. I'm pleased that you like to look at them but proud that you like them enough to comment because I know most of you are excellent craftsmen.  Looking at the top of the blade of that second one just gave me an idea to try on the next. I have another one almost finished. Having a special touch put on it right now. I'll show it in a few days. Thanks again, mike
