Vance,
You wearing those sneakers to run the rabbits down when you miss?

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Vance, I know the feeling.  In 1990 I shattered my heel on Labor Day when some scaffolding collapsed at work, spent the rest of the season hunting on crutches.  However, I got lucky and was able to get a 5X6 bull elk, a mile behind the closed gate (It didn't feel like I had gone that far when still stalking and calling).  Want to talk about fun, try carrying an eighty pound pack of meat while hobbling along on crutches.  Luckily, my youngest brother and some guys from my construction crew helped me get it out.

Nice shooting Vance! Was that rabbit a tune-up for antelope?

Our week with Miss Faith was short but busy. She is one fine shooting bow. Here is some pics.

I know this isn't the prettiest hog in the woods. Most of the ones we see and every once in a while, Take, are all black with a little white spot or spots. We've got pics of a few all white, gray, and combo's......We even had a little catch and release today.   We really enjoyed this week with Miss Faith and all Trad Ganger's should try to reserve a little time with them next year....Don and Skyler

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

JC,
An ole wise man told me...... " Luck is where preparation meets opportunity ! "

Don is always telling Skyler and Mason to hurry up and shoot when we are at 3D shoots, he asks them all the time, " What are you doing, posing like an underwear model or something ? " We get some good laughs out of it anyway, haha ?

Cheapshot, you got that right, Don and Skyler can make lots of things dead pretty much any day of the week. I hope some of that mojo rubs off on me and Mason ! We are just glad they let us hang out with them and call us friends.....   :biglaugh:
