I have a two tone A riser, Bubinga and Dymonwood, i think its from 2014, that i love. I also have a B riser and white tip limbs from early 2000, that i bought from a fella, that never even strung the bow, it was new! Only thing is the handle area is thinner, not liking that one as much for that reason.

I just added two more to the rack...

A Bubinga A riser with 57 pound #3 limbs and a grey futurewood A riser with 45 pound #3 limbs.

Hi R.V.T.B,
Do you show us some pics of your new ones?
Would be happy to see the both A risers.

There are quite a few different types of string material i like WAY better than D97  ... Rhino is my favorite, but D-10 is good too, and i've heard great things about the BCY-X but haven't tried it yet..... 450 plus is an excellent soft string with very little stretch, but it doesn't wear as well as Rhino string by half.

I found D97 noisy. By the time I loaded the string with junk to quite it down I lost any benefit of the FF limbs. Now use skinny strings from SBD.

I tried a Fury string from TenRingStrings this past spring.  Love it!  Fast and quiet and he makes one of the best looking strings around.  I have since put them on all of my bows.

It has been a busy summer and I have been able to add several Bear Take downs to the harem, starting with the two tone A riser that I posted photos of earlier. Then I picked up a couple more.

Here is a nice 1974 A mag riser that I picked up this summer.

I was lucky enough to come across a great deal on a Gray futurewood A riser with #1 limbs.  I sold them to a friend and bought a new set of 45 pound #3 limbs.  I really like the looks of this riser.

I had a friend wanting to buy one of my Gray bows off of me.  I ended up finding a great deal on the exact same bow that he wanted and got it in.  As he had a good looking Bubinga A riser with #3 57 pound limbs, we just traded bows.

Looks great I just love those #3 limbs so smooth!

I know they should all be the same but I like the way an A handle fits my hand.  The gray futurewood looks very nice to me but, after a while, I have to stop and ask myself how many do I really need.

Here is a couple pictures of the new limbs I just finished for my A mag. I just had to try the green glass that was available. The limbs are #3's with Maple cores, black Phenolic fadeout wedges and black glass overlays.
