My Bmag turned up yesterday and it shoots just as good as my 88 wood b handle.
I also brought a set of 74# #3 limbs built by paul shafer and a Amag so hopefully they dont take to long to get hear

Big Jim had a awesome A riser I could not resist. It has the "birth marks" on it.

Pics coming soon

Well..... I unpacked my green stripe and cannot say how happy I am with the bow. Mr Stegnar is a member here and really went above and beyond so I could get it. One of my bucket list bows and what a sweet shooter. Now I'm saving for a bow that doesn't exist but will soon.... Not ready to let the cat out of the bag yet  ;)  i would post pics of my green stripe but only have cellphone access so  ;)

I bought a A riser black maple at the compton shoot this year with #3 limbs and absolutely love it.  I shoot this  bow very very well.  Now Im considering selling one of my shafers to purchase a two tone set up. Did I just really say that?

I'm new to this thread but definitely caught the Bear TD bug a couple months back. Love my 2014, black red stripe maple TD. Came with #1, 50@28 red tip limbs, and I've already picked up a new set of #3, 45@28 red tip limbs from Big Jim. Hard to beat that combination. Really have enjoyed reading all the post and seeing all the pictures of your great Bear bows. Keep it up.

Wow, I can't believe that I have missed the last 20 pages of this thread. I think I started this thread with 2 Bear T/D's and because of it I now have 4. two A's and two B's.  3 of the 4 sport Rose Oak Limbs. I have all 3 sets in roughly the same weights depending on the configuration. My favorite so far are the number two limbs  with a maple core. these limbs were quiet right out of the box with a B-50 string. I made my own FF string with 12 strands and added  some yarn silencers to it along with some yarn wrappings at both ends of the string and when I took the bow to Compton's last week-end, other people commented to me that they could not hear the shot. It will be my hunting bow this year.   :)

I had the opportunity to shoot a couple of the new phenolic SK's this weekend and loved how they are shaping the handles on them. Very similar to my 66 Kodiak's handle.  Are the new B riser handles shaped similarly or are they done differently. I have not found a shop that has a new B riser in stock to look at.  I need to decide which is the best for me before buying.

Mark, that's a great looking riser, I like the blonde streaks. Is that a set of #1's on there?   ;)

OBXarcher

Yep, those are your limbs Paul. Kind of surprised at the arrows it likes. GT 7595, 31" regular insert with 150 gr point. I draw around 29". they fly great.
Looking for a set of #3 just to try. This will be my elk rig this year.

Got back from my bear hunt where I spent some time learning more about Bear T/D from some of the guys in camp. The "A Mag" I bought is neat and I knew the guy I got bought it from also had a "B Mag" original with the hammer tone finish. So I contacted him and it will be on it's way to me next week.

You have to be careful with the Bear T/D's Ron. I have nine on the wall now, just got an A mag riser in Monday and just worked out a deal on another bow today.  Them things is addictive!
