Kermit,
Your picture came through just fine. That's a beautiful blonde wood in the riser.  If you haven't looked at it yet check out the history and collecting forum on this site for more Bear archery info.

Looking back through this great thread I see I never added a pic of my latest Bear T/D to the mix...

Hi All, can some one of you explain to me how to integrate a pic as Stickbow98 ??  I only was able to post my dropbox link, but would prefer to show the pic as above.
Regards

Kermit

I meant "as Stickbow98 did"
Sorry, if I may confused someone of you

Hey kermit. I use photobucket. Once my picture is uploaded onto photobucket I select to copy the image. Several options come up and I pick the one that says "IMG". Once you click on that, just click into the text-box on here. "Paste" will show up, select paste. Your image will be pasted as a html code or something, however once you select "add reply" and your reply posts, it will be your image there. You can type either above or below your html coded image to add the text with your picture(s). Welcome to tradgang friend.

My Custom Kodiak A handle (apprx 2000)

Bought it some years ago on the bay. Didn`t thought I will like it much, but liked to try the A handle size since BEAR came back on the market with them.

Thank you Cavescout for assisting how to show the pics properly!! Highly appreciate your welcome too! Had to set up photobucket first and find the right settings. But seems it worked.

Wonderful forum! My wife says I`m crazy, when I do my "studies" throughout the evenings since I found this forum :-) Always droll over for new pics of Custom Kodiaks :-) Addicted definitely!!

Kermit, good to see Bear's making an impact around the globe. And you're welcome, glad you got it sorted out with photobucket. And yes, the "studies" will sure draw you in here on tradgang!

Hi Cavescout,
yes, products of BEAR Archery made their way around the globe.!!
Some fans around in europe. And still a very popular brand!

I started Target Archery in a club in my hometown Cologne/Germany, back in 1985.
I was 15 years old. First bow they took in my hands was a Damon Howatt Cavalier with 24lbs and a bit later a York Crest with 26 lbs and then a DH Ventura, before I got my first rental TD Recurve (still wooden handle).

Before I was already continuesly atrackted by bow and arrow. I guess it started at the age of 3 or 4,
when my Grandaunt bought my first bow in a toy-store, while waiting at a bus-stop. This is the earliest "bow-story" I can remember.
It was a red coloured split-bamboo latch :-).
She bought me the same bow a second time some months later. But then green coloured as this was my favorite colour when I was a kid.
And probably this was the seed for that I still can`t imagine a life with just one bow :-).
And Marketing guys of Bear Archery know that probably :-)
Years and many selfmade bows later and still the Bow and Arrow fire in me,I went to my local Archery club in Cologne in 1985
and got in contact with some of the german archery olditmers of this time and they showed me the old BEAR catalogs from the 70`s and lighted this way the fire in me for BEAR bows.
I did target archery for many years but always stayed tuned to the old shool equipment like english longbows (Robin Hood fan throughout my lifetime), HH-Longbows
and recurves in general.

In the 80`s only a tiny part of german archers did the traditional way. Target archery was what the majority did.
Today it changed a bit. Traditional archery (3D) became very popular during the last 15-20 years, but still is a niche sport,
like archery in general, compared with soccer or so. Bowhunting is forbidden either in Germany (where I come from) and
Switzerland (where I live).
It is really great to get in contact via the internet to other people who have the same "problem" with archery addiction :-)
Cheers
Marco

Great Collection!
Congratulations!!!
I'm still waiting for my all Bubinga Risers.
Hope to get at least one of them soon.

How about some clear, close-up photos of the new two-tone risers? The photos on the Bear website are not very good. I suspect that the new risers are beautiful, and some great photos might confirm that.
