Yep, thats what they were made for.

Great pics Sam, thanks for posting.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

I have only been shooting them a year and I think I like em...................

I might as well jump in on this thread also. I have only three bows that were bought brand new and two of those were Bear T/Ds. My first was bought in 1990 and it replaced my 67 1/2 SK as a hunting bow for the next fifteen years. Last year I bought a new red stripe A-Handle and ordered it without the threaded inserts. I have a set of Rose Oak #1 limbs on it and that was my main bow of choice last fall.

Yesterday, I received word from Brandon that my new set of #3s were done and would ship Monday. Who knows, there could be another T/D Handle in my future.

Good thread!  Sam I would say you have been very busy. Great pics.
There is a pic of my green stripe in the collectors section.

OK Sam Ok Sam stop showing off, your making us feel bad(LOL) Talking about whetting one appetite. Congrats on such a fine job. Man I am impressed, what a collection of harvest taken with those Bear Takedowns. I have to wait til next season to fully put mine through the ringer, because I am devoting the whole 2012 season to hunting with my Bear 59 Kodiak. Thanks Sam for sharing all those nice pics.

Here is what you get to look forward to.

I ordered this A riser Bubinga last summer from Big Jake and Danny Dupree at Tri State Traditional Archery in Kendallville Ind last summer.  Just got it last week.

The limbs are some old #2's I had laying around.  It makes a nice 58" 48 @ 29 bow for me.

Sam- You give those things a workout!

Great pics everyone!
