I would like to say thank you to Terry and the gang at Trad Gang for giving me a place to find and talk to people who have the same loves and interest that I have had my whole life.
To understand how much I value this site you would have to understand my life ,so bare with me.
I left my Nova Scotia home almost 9 years ago to make a living for my young and growing family in the big bad province of Ontario .For those of you that are not sure of the size of Ont, lets just say Texas will fit in here many times over with room to spare.
I am a mason .I do brick ,block and stone and I must be not to bad at my trade(third generation)so I end up working all over the province.
That means I don't get to be home with my family like most folks get to do.my three kids get to see me 48 hrs a week or less sometimes its months.
That is where you guy's come in .Thanks to you I have been able to meet and make friends. There are not to many places that I have to go that I can not find a friend to have a beer or a coffe with.
A good example is last night I was in Timmims Ont with a friend that I meet throught the bunny hunt that Big dog put on.
Some of you guys know Sergio and I got to see the pics of your bear hunts with him.
We drove the back roads and got to see a few bears ,I think Serg got some video, and I personally had a ball.
I had the opportunity to see some great pics of Paul Schafer and the lioness that he killed off the guide and pics of the skinning of that cat and I feel privileged to have seen those pics .
So once agian I would like to say thank you and I hope you keep up the great work.
Gary

I don't post much but I read daily, I've learned more in the last year or so than I've learned in the first eighteen years put together.Tradgang is a great place, and it always has a warm smile.

Thanks

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Very Well Said. There is not a better group of people anywhere than on here. I just hope to meet some of the many friends I have made in person some time. God Bless you all.

I find the same thing here.  I read more than I post but still love it.  I frequant other sites as well and I have friends that I hope to some day meet.

Nice to see a former Maritimer too.  Great post northern fisher.  I am in New Brunswick and my Dad used to be a mason years ago.  He gave it up long before I was born so I did not get a taste of what your family does.

Best site I have found. wouldn't trade it for the world. Great bunch of people. Gary, I to have been gone for long periods of time from the family when I was doing Tech. work. It gets tuff. I quit so that I could be with the family more. Hang in there buddy
Thanks and keep promoting the great sport of bow hunting to our youth and friends.
