Here's a video from my May hog hunt in Florida.

SWEET  :clapper:   if that is your DB blind. you can cut a little 2" hole to video thru and it doesn't seem to bother the pigs or deer. Great shot and thanks for posting

Danny:  Neat video.  I think I talked with you a couple of years ago after hunting with Hoppy.  You still at Kent?  I was pastor at the Baptist church in Dupont for 12 years and before that I began my ministry at Hopewell Baptist just up the road from Kent.  Don't think Hopewell is still going now.  I got to hunt twice with Hoppy this year--once with my usual crew and later with my son and a couple of other new guys to Hoppy's!  What stand location were you on in this video?.....Dave

Hey Dave!!

Yep...still at Kent....8 1/2 years and going strong.

This hog was shot out of a DB Matrix at the "Mudhole Stand."

You familiar with it??

Danny, I think I have seen that stand but never hunted it. I got mine this year from Tea Jug (2), one from "little field", and one from the ground blind just above the lodge on the field to the right as you go toward the gas line.  I got to watch my son shoot one from the same ground blind the last night we hunted.  He has hunted with me since he was 11 but this was special to be there when he shot a nice hog on his first hog hunt.  He is in Fort Wayne, IN and practices optometry there.  I was planning to video his hunt but the light was failing fast when the hogs finally came in. Man I love hunting with Hoppy.  Glad you're still at Kent--wonderful area.  You going to Cloverdale?  I'll be there Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon Lord's willing...Dave

Ahh it's a Tradgang Hoppy's reunion. I've hunted that little field by the lodge a few times. Heck I've hunted everywhere at Hoppys a few times LOL.

Congrats BNB. No tracking required there.

David be sure and stop by Sat night at Cloverdale and say howdy.

Neat. Amazing that a few of the other pigs just stood there, knowing how darn skittish they are. Congrats!

Brian.....

If you also saw my turkey hunt video...you saw that I got two shots off on a record book tom.  You have to understand...if you have never hunted out of the Matrix.....they have no idea where the shot comes from.  As long as they do not identify a human form with the commotion...they simply do not have a clue. In those other hog's minds....it could simply have been that he and another hog got in a fight...and he got the raw end of the deal.  The Matrix blinds are amazing....especially with that screen down.

Good job on the hunt and video, no tracking there.
