It took me long enough, shot this doe last Friday night.  Set up in my ground blind and had a 19 yard shot.  The hit was just an inch or so in front of the leg, caught both lungs, she went about 100 yards and expired.  Shooting my Bob Lee Hunter at about 60#, with Beman Classic 400s, and Wasp Sharpshooter broadheads.  My son Tyler was involved in the skinning process and wanted to be on the "world wide web" so he could show his buddies at school.  It has been a season of ups and downs, missed a few times, never had a good shot opportunity on my trip to Missouri, and was getting pretty discouraged.  Glad to finally connect and add some venision to the freezer.  Also, can anyone help me to make this picture my aviatar image??

That's a nice "sally" right there!!! I bet that corn fed one is going to eat well indeed.

Congratulations.

Congrats on a nice doe. Michigan weather made for an easy to handle late season this year. Snow would have been nice for finding them but it was alot easier to stay warm. Nice job.

Nice sized doe! Pretty bow! Bagging a Mich whitetail is harder than one would think. I have several unused Mi tags in a drawer from years past.LOL

I'd say ya done good. So'd the little feller.

Good job. It's those last minute deer memories that really stick with you and remind us to not give up.

Congratulations David. That's a dandy "susie". Late season, old doe in MI......that's a trophy to be proud of for sure.

Great picture of you and your son too.
