last week i was walking back from another uneventful morning of turkey hunting when i went to check for the carp to be spawning, and low and behold they were all over the river... shot home took the string tracker off and switched over to the bowfishing set up and back to the river. took a while to fully adjust to shooting into the water again, i hadnt done it in a while, but between dad and i we got ten  , including one that was 34 inches long and just a pig, wish i had a scale. we ended up both having to put an arrow in it to get it in which was pretty neat, both of us pulling in the same fish. just a lot of fun chasing these things when they are like that

took a few videos but as always anytime the camera was on some thing would not work out but this one did. sorta...
this was one of dads that was very confusing we both were convinced he missed(again lol jk) but in fact shot it straight through the head and must have stunned it sending it to the bottom with no fight at first (untill after i turned the camera off thinkin he missed) you will hear our confussion. look to the right you will see the carp coming towards him...

That's great! Thanks for sharing. I really got to get out and do some of that to our local population of carp.

thanks guys it was a blast and that was the biggest fish i have ever seen come out of our little river. so that was real exciting, raise the bar a little higher.

OH at work

We've got a water garden with Koi (just a fancy name for carp) and they spawned about two weeks ago.  I told my wife I was going to grab my bow and she about had a fit until I told her I was just kidding (well kinda kidding !!!).
