a new bow!!!  My first custom bow!!!      I decided after a long internal debate with myself... on what to get... couldn't decide logically... so, I gave myself a week and came back to it and just went with my gut...

Well, I let the bowyer decide on the woods... just said I want it to look nice, but not too nice to take out hunting... natural camo would be nice for them turkeys just seem to pick up on the littlest things...    


 

Well I think Dan Toelke nailed it!!! 58" Whip 42#@27" and draws like butter

Bocote riser with black limba limbs... bamboo cores

It is such a joy to hold... it fits my hand so perfectly natural that I can't quite decsribe in words...

now just have to wait to get a chance to get out and shoot it!!!

This is weird.  I just posted and ordered one from him 15 minutes ago!!  That is too beautiful!  This is going to be my first custom too.  Looks like I picked a good one after seeing yours.  Nice, Nice, Nice!

Snag, he does request a outline.  I have a deformation in my thumb on my holding hand.  He even asked for pics to get the thumb-rest just right for me on mine.

Yep an outline of the hand... and he nailed it as it is unlike anyother bow I've ever held!!! It just goes into place and locks into position without even trying...
