I've got an old '67 supermag that I picked up and am considering selling, probably on the auction site. My question is, from peoples experience, is it better to refinish it first or sell it as is. It's not in bad shape at all but it does have the usual scratches and those pesky vertical stress cracks that are common in these bears. Opinions and stories are welcome.  :)

As is. I like vintage to look like vintage.

I just refinished an old Ben Pearson, and it came out pretty nice.....but it was trashed when i got it....not really beat up so bad...but twisted limbs and serious tiller issues.....i decided to restore life to the old girl & make it usable again....it's all in what someone wants if for, i guess....if they want a wall hanger, or a shooter.....

my .02 cents

67 Super Mag would probably be more of a collector than a shooter.. Let the new owner decide. Or better yet, clean it up and shoot it for a while.. You may not want to sell it.
