6 3/4" to 7" Brace height 7" is recommended height.

I have a new to me Scout Lil Favorite that I cant shoot yet. Driving me nuts it is.

I just got 58in 53# @ 28in Samari last week. Shot it 2 days and then wrecked my Harley,breaking my shoulder blade in half and one rib. I still like just looking at it. Can't wait to soot it some more, Out Door Dan

Now, on the bright side, once you have the first one, the wait for the next is not bad at all.  It is still the same amount of time, but you get to shoot your current one to your hearts content
