Carp? Check out this video. Sorry, they are mostly compound shooters but there are a couple of guys using recurves.

Blackhawk

A couple buddies and I fished the shallows near Moses Lake, Washington a few days ago and bagged 44 common carp in a four hour trip.  Most were in the 8-12 pound range, but we took a couple pics of our biggest.

Here's an 18 pounder I took with a 52# Shakespeare Super Necedah and AMS reel.

This is Don's best, a 15 pounder taken with a Samick 50# takedown using AMS reel.

Hawaii archer George Cho with his first carp ever taken, an 8 pound brute.  It took a while, but George finally figured out the "shooting low" tactic.  He used a 50# Darton recurve and 808 reel.
