Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

Here's an update from this season. I used to darken my beard because it grew in very unevenly and made me look much younger. Now that it is more uniform in color I am "au nartural".

The best things in life....aren't things!

Me shooting my latest wild idea- 76" English longbow ('warbow') she's pulling 75@28 there.  Rated 90-100@33.  @28 she's sweet to shoot, doesn't feel all that heavy cause of the leverage (?)  Pretty accurate with carbons, gonna try and hunt, after I camo wrap the limbs, haha -CHUCK

Sorry, draw blocking my face  :)  Will find a better pic later...

I've only got a few pics of me.  Seems most of my hunting photos are of my buddies...here's what I got though.

On my son Lucas' first hunt (he was 5).  June squirrel season in Virginia.

Here is me with my very first trad kill.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

I've really enjoyed this thread. I can remember a lot of the handles from when the TG first started and it's nice to put faces with names although there's so many, how could a guy remember?   :)  Great thread with some great picts.

Most of the picts seem to be of trad bow kills so here's one from a couple years ago of my wife and I at our favorite summer time place - Holland State Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. She's put up with my obsession with bowhunting for more than 30 years and besides that, she's provided me with 2 great kids and now we've got 3 grandsons who we love more than anything.
