I would like some help in knowing what work is involved in converting this 21"compound riser and which # ILF limbs would make a 55# bow 60"long??????Thanks Guys...Bobby

I might be a bone head but I gotta ask..............what is "warfing"?

warfing is taking compound bow risers and adding tradtional recurve or longbow style limbs to them....called WARFS

It's all an experiement, depends on a lot of things, pad angles, limb length, blah blah blah... the good thing is that you will have a bit of a range to work with because you can loosen the limb bolts (some) and/or put in wedges.  Good luck.

   It's very little work.  All you need is a sturdy box, some packing, a shipping label, and Warf's address.  Seriously, for as little as he charges, and as good a job as he does, even I wouldn't do it myself!

Bobby, the Proline riser makes a great Warf.  It's my preferred Warf riser because it has steeper limb pocket angles than the Bear Black Bear (another of the commonly Warfed risers).

The shortest bow you're going to be able to get is "62, though...unless you can find a pair of extra-short ILF limbs.

To be in the range of #55 with a 28 inch draw you're going to need #44-46 ILF limbs.

Bob Gordon (Warf) will charge you around $100-120 to convert that riser so you can use ILF fittings and have 5 pounds of weight/ tiller adjustability.
