Tucked in and Duct-Taped around the Top, just to be Safe!

Why is it either/or?  In the fall, I usually wear two pair of pants, one in, one out.  Keeps the boots from irritating my leg and keeps stuff from falling into the boot.

I don't tuck in my pant legs.

Try tucking on a wet rainy day and your boots will be so full of water you'll have to dump them out every couple of hundred yards.  Plus, for those of us that live in snow country, unless you tape the top of your boots to your pants, they fill up with snow pretty fast.

Pour a glass of water in each of your boots and walk a mile.  Your feet will become skinless real fast.
