Were would  be a good start for a recurve, 54" 46# @ 28" i draw between 26.5" and 27" i want to get a test kit by the way wood arrows but also alum. i might want to go that route. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

As for aluminum, I think I would start with 2016, maybe 2114. I shoot 52# 27" and 2016 fly fine for me.

1916 if left long would fly nice for ya. I would say an 1816 if ya are gonna cut them to 28"s. I PM'ed ya with something ya may like. Shawn

if you want woodies i would start out with 45-50 lb spine bare shaft tune in and cut 1'2 inch off til they fly good
