When I turn fifty, I hope that I am still pulling the string on this beauty.  It just arrived today.  My wonderful wife and daughter ordered me a 50th Black Widow Anniversary longbow.  64" 50#@28" and it shoots like a dream!!  I am truly a lucky man!

Ya better keep her, ya the both of them! My wife bought me a PGA 50th at the Kazoo show this year for my 50 th birthday. It should be here in about two weeks. I turn 50 5/16 I'll try and send ya a picture! Dang I'll still be older than any of my bows!    BTW nice bow! I stand on the right side of the bow too!

Great looking bow. I am 62 years old and saving my 50 lb. longbow for the age of 75. If I had as nice a bow as you I would make it a point to be able to shoot it for many, many years after 50.
Yes, wives that put up with us and our "stuff" are the greatest. Just always make sure you are shooting "great" when asked about the bow they bought for you.

Hotdamn on the new BW! When you turn 50, you'll be 11 years younger than I am now ... and I still do it all, on foot, including packing meat. May you be so blessed.

When I turn 50 (in November) I'll be happy to be shooting any bow, period.  Starting to get arthritis in the fingers of my drawing hand and recurring bursitis in that elbow.  Must finally be getting old...
