Nope. Can't complain about the noise or flight  with the treesharks I tried - I just wish I hadn't opted for the screw-in model.  The setup I used with that destroyed head was  a total arrow weight of 650 grains and a 74 lb longbow.

Man after seeing the pics posted on this thread I may have to rethink the Snuffers for my fall black bear hunt and go with the 4 blade 160 Land Sharks.

Alright i gotta try em. But!!! i got a question, lol. I did some reading on ashbys reports recently and he makes it seem that a two blad is the only way to go, especially in regards to penetration. Are most of yall using the bleeders? I learned real quick this year that i want an exit hole. I shoot a 58 # bob lee, moving a 450 grain arrow at 195 fps. Do i have anything to worry about using the bleeders on deer and hogs up to about 150 lbs?
thanks

I sure wouldn't think so! I would personally want a bit more total arrow weight myself though. Dude that's not even 8 grains per pound.

It was good enough to pass through a doe and hog with a b-52 two blade  :D  . Dont be fooled into thinking you gotta have a heavy arrow. I suppose i should have also asked the setup that yall are using with the bleeders.

I don't use the bleeders on the big ones.Really no need since they cut so much and they are easier to work in the quiver. The doe in the picture was shot with a screw-in and did have the bleeders but that is the only time I have used them since the glue-on is not slotted for bleeders.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

I never used the bleeders either. They are a pain to fool with in my opinion.

Bleeders are counterproductive.  The paper thin material simply twists and turns into an anchor.

JC

The last 3 shots with the 190 interceptors have been with bleeders, no problems...total pass through on all three. I like the extra cutting surface. But then, the last three have been out of my 64@27" Morrison with 650gr total arrow weight.

JC, care to share what animals those shots were on? Javies, hogs, and goats im guessing?
Kyle

The last 3 animals that got a "close up" of the Simmons 190 w/bleeders were: 1 Javie, 1 deer, and 1 goat. Oh, and I forgot, the goat was shot with a lil ol 57@27" shrew and 540gr arrows and it still broke the bones and sailed through.

I shot a moose at 40 yards with a #65 bow with the 160 interceptor glue on with a 125 steel adapter total arrow weight was 710 the arrow passed thru and was buried 4 inches deep 15 yards pass the moose in the ground.. it's the only head I hunt with...

Well I guess I have to go the other way.I shot Sharks and had dismal results I couldn't find replacement bleeder blades and I live about 30 min.from where they make them. Poor blood trails with the 2 blade and the land sharks are fragile When I first started using them I thought they were the holy grail by the end of the season I had cleaned them out of my bow box.Oh did I mention they flew erratic.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up and worn out,and loudly proclaiming WOW!! What A Ride!!

DW

Sorry you had problems Mr. Drake. Knock on wood but 18 years and 49 big game animals, ALL shot with the bleeders. I've never lost an animal that was the broadheads fault and have recovered several that was all because of the Sharks, after yours truly screwed up. I personally don't want to shoot anything else. Not bragging by no means, just my humble opinion. Don
