I saw an add for hellrazor broadheads, they look sorta like montecs.Anyone seen em around yet, price?

Bill Carlsen

Actually they are more like a one piece Razorcap. I have seen the ad in trade publications for the past two months or so and they are saying that the construction is the same welding process they use on the Razorcap and the claim is also that they are tougher than the Razorcap. I have yet to see one and suspect the price is "pricey".

They are kinda like both.  The construction process mimics the Razorcap, but the dimensions are similar to the Montec/Snuffer SS.

I've not actually seen them available, but if they are less than $30 for 3 I'd be shocked.  Regardless, I've never seen anything from NAP that was not a high quality product.

I just wish more companies would make a heavy screw-in broadhead.  These HellRazor things look good, but they don't do me any good at 100 or 125 grains.

That's why we can buy heavy adapters! It makes for more weight/ tuning possibilities whilst leaving the broadheads as a standard weight  :)

I did a quick search and they are selling for 35.99/3 pack.

I guess if they are as tuff as they say they are, it would be a good buy.  It's hard to pay that kind of money for a broadhead when you can get a 6 pack of Magnus for 10 bucks less.

Pigstikker, Muzzy Phantoms, 200-220 grains, 3 pack $22.

Yeah, I looked at those, but they didn't fare too well in the independent testing performed on BTReviews.  I am going with the Interceptors and two brass weight collars.  That has bumped my total weight to exactly 600gr, so I am happy with that for now.
