I would ask ...how in the world can you guys pass on a shot at a squirrel or rabbit when your deer hunting?lol...I try to deer hunt...I SWEAR... but theres just so many squirrels  :knothead:

Seems lately all I do is hunt small game, and like Achilles, have had many a deer hunt turn into a squirrel or rabbit hunt. And over the past few lazy summers, I've been convinced that there's nothing better than frog hunting with a recurve or longbow...

Too many tree rats are around me when I'm deer hunting, so I usually end up hunting them... and then seeing deer.

And lets not forget   2007 JLMBH
and   2006 JLMBH
and   2005 Southern NY Bunny Hunt
;)

I won't say I only small game hunt, but that's what I generally end up doing  :)

Must be "Yankee" Squirrels !! LOL!!!!!
They do seem to be a bit chubbier then their "Confederate" counterparts, that's the word on the street any way.   ;)

Definately well fed...I don't know that I only hunt small game, but I frequently do find myself wandering about paying more attention to the small game when I'm supposed to be hunting something else.

Bowspirit, no sir, I bought these at a archery shop about 10 years ago when I lived in Colo. Havent seen them any place since.

Well, looks pretty lethal, and downright intimidating  :scared: .
The only reason I asked if it was homemade was cuz it looked like you took a 200+ field point, made some cuts in it, and screw it in front of an adder point...

That's a nasty looking head!!

The tree rats around the house are very well fed!  My neighbors put out corn for the deer year round and everyone has bird feeders.  I'll occasionally hit the lot of woods behind the house and try for rats and the odd rabbit.  Nice way to blow off steam the few minutes of daylight that's left when I get home after work

WESTBROOK,
Those are my favorite small game heads, I do the same thing with the adder behind the point. I call it the "Death Adder" They are devastating on small game. I think they were made by Martin I'm down to 5 or 6 myself. I keep filing them to points, you can get alot of use out of them.

Small Game,is all i hunt much anymore.Nv,is an all lottery draw, and gettin more expensive every year.We pay damn near as much,to hunt Elk here,as we would have to pay,as an out of stater,in Idaho. Its rediculous. The great thing about small game here is,One small Stamp fee.Long seasons, and you can go,pretty much where you like.A hunter, can hunt severall species at the same time, for awhile too.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.
