Does anyone have some damaged 1916's or 2020's lying around that they don't use anymore? I'm throwing together some Axis 400's, and I need some aluminums in these sizes for footings. It could really help me out if someone could sent some shafts of these sizes to me if they're no longer shootable. Thanks...

I don't have any, but do have a tip...stick with 2020's...2"s on front...they'll be bomb proof.

I'd imagine they'd make a considerably tougher footing than the 1916, but I'll take what I can get. Besides, I figure there are more bent & broken 1916's out there then there are 2020's...

I think I have a few 1916 Gamegetters laying around,can't garranty how straight they are though. I'll look around and see what I can find.

Thanks Chuck. Bent would be better, seeing as I only need two inches for each footing, and I don't want to take any good, usable arrows away from someone...

With the 1" or 2" footing, do you have to leave your arrows 1" to 2" longer? Alan

No, all I do is slip the footing over the front of my average-lengthed arrows...

I don't think 1916s will work for 400 shafts. They are perfect for the 500s (it's what I use) but I think the ID is too small for the 400s. I don't know about the 2020s.
You better double check the chart.

Actually, since I had 2 1916 shaft's lying around last year, I made a few sets of Axis 400's footed with the 1916's. Actually, I wanna take this moment to thank ya', Jaeger, cause I got the idea of footing carbons from you. Thanks man...

I'm suprised those worked for you. I tried to slip fit some 1916 pieces on a 400 Beman Black Max and it wouldn't fit. Go figure!  

They're probably alot harder to get on the 400's than the 500's, but they work, and without removing material from the shaft. Was surpirised myself, but you can't argue with results, I guess...

The Beman OD might be a tad fatter...I know the the weight is different and believe it to be because of the thicker wall...HIT still works so it jives that the 1916 might just miss due to larger OD...on the BM
