Hey all,

I have been getting a LOT of good advice from members here about longbows.  I haven't thought much about getting a 3 Piece TD longbow until a few responses and PM's from other members.  Now I would like to see some pics of various 3 Piece T/D Longbows.

So if anyone out there has any pics lying around on their hard drive how about putting them on here so I/we can check 'em out.  Besides, I know I CAN'T be the only one that enjoys pictures of nice bows....

Thanks for the time.

Nala

ADDED:
Seems I have asked about 3 piece bows earlier.  Right after I joined I asked for pics of them.  I TOTALLY forgot about that old thread and found it doing a search on my name.  I was going to delete this one but it already had a picture posted.  I apologize for repeating.  Hopefully there will be lotsa new pics in this thread that people will enjoy....

Here's a photo of my Leon Stewart 3 piece longbow. The riser is cocobolo dymondwood and the limbs are yew wood with maple cores.

Nala,
In My Honest Opinion, there are so many new guys joining here every day/week/month and being a few month old newbie myself, I think it;s great to see what was posted in the past.  It's hardenough to read the new posts let alone any older posts that are as good as this one..Gives everyone in the market to veiw bows they might have not noramlly gotten a chance to see.

Now for this Stewart longbow...That is that EYE CANDY,,,,WOW..That Buffalo Head Nickle really says "American Made"...

Someone pinch me.. (except for Mikey C)

and Lefty to boot.(Please tell me this is a picture taken straight at and not from a reflection in a mirror of a right handed bow)..

Nala,
a 3 pieces  "longbow" is in fact a recurve riser with non-recurve (dare I say straight)limbs. A longbow is different, and requires a different mindset and shooting technique than a straight limbs recurve  :)    :)

Danny,

So youre the one that bought that bow off Abes site. I was looking real hard at it, but just couldnt swing at this time. Beautiful chunk of wood that he used for the riser in it.
